TexasPreps remains hard at work and this year the website will set the standard when it comes to video coverage across the great state of Texas. Our 2008 coverage is well underway and we are prepared to release the 2008 TEXASPREPS PROSPECT SHEET! 2008 PROSPECT SHEET Our statewide coverage of the Lone Star state will continue throughout the season so stay tuned. On our first Prospect Sheet release, we have video featured a number of Texas' top prospects including top defensive lineman RJ Washington out of Keller Fossil Ridge, offensive lineman David Snow out of Gilmer, running back Justin Johnson out of Gilmer, quarterback Seth Doege out of Wolffort Frenship, offensive lineman JB Shugarts out of Klein, quaterback Riley Dodge and runningback Tre Newton out of Southlake Carroll, defensive end Damian Square out of Houston Yates, defensive lineman Jarvis Humphrey out of Cedar Hill, running back Cyrus Gray out of DeSoto and defensive lineman Tony Eddie out of DeSoto. After taking their team to back to back playoff births for the first time in school history, the Sr. class is ready to move on to playing on Saturdays. With this class getting ready to graduate, the class of 2008 has it in their minds to make it a 3 peat, and that goal will start on the defensive side of the ball. With two of the top D-Ends in the District, and DB Fred Thomas shutting down one half of the field, next years Weatherford team has the makeup for another playoff run. Leading the way is DE Bernard Edwards. Edwards has the size and speed off the edge to be a great pass rusher at the next level. Also on the defensive side of the ball for Coach Pierce is DB Maurice Price. Price is a head hunting safety that makes plays all over the field. On the other side of the ball Center Eric Killman in the anchor of the offensive line and has a chance of being one of the top Centers in the DFW area in 2007.
