After another deep playoff run in 2006, the Bearcats have their eyes set on a State Title in 07. Though Aledo is losing some very good players to the Division-1 ranks, Coach Buchanan will still have some of his biggest player makers back this fall. With last years District MVP Cole Loftin coming back and a few other all district players around him, the Bearcats have a very good shot at winning it all this December. Below is a look at some of the players Aledo has coming back. SunshinePreps has and will continue to grow and has become the industry standard in terms of providing recruiting access to college coaches around the country. There has been a great deal of hard work behind the scenes with the college coaches and we are days away from allowing the fans to become part of the largest video network you can find. SunshinePreps and TexasPreps currently has 700 videos on the class of 2008 and we are on pace for 2,000. To put this in perspective, last season the two networks featured 1,300 kids. With thousands and thousands of hours of highlight videos set for release, the video coverage that will take place between June 1st and signing day 2008 will set the standard. SunshinePreps and TexasPreps invites you to be part of the coverage! On top of the video coverage, there will be a great deal of discussion that will help educate kids and parents around the country who are going through the recruiting process for the very first time. The message board forums will be actively used to interact with fans, parents, and coaches. There are big things ahead!! The video coverage will begin in June and will end on signing day. As a way to protect the colleges who are part of the video coverage, the oldest videos are introduced first. Another words, videos that are 6-8 months old. This lag time will remain in place throughout the entire year. Videos that are created today for example, will not hit the website for months as a way to protect the colleges. Being way out in east Texas many Coaches dont get a chance to few some of the players in person. This is why TexasPreps.net has made it our goal to bring you coverage from every part of this big State. I am now closing in on over 400 videos for the 2008 class and have over 50 videos done on 2009.
